I, Paul Burgess have been working in the building trade for 24 years and
formed my own building company in March 1998.
We currently employ a team of professional tradesmen and labourers who carry
out all types of building work, from - groundwork, brickwork, stonework,
carpentry, roofing, plastering, plumbing, wall and floor tiling, bathroom
and kitchen fitting.
We also employ sub-contractors on a regular basis, qualified electricians,
Corgi/Oftec registered plumbers, Access Control, Security and Fire Alarm
specialists, Generator contractors and Air Conditioning Engineers.
Over the last 9 years, with the help of our committed staff, we have
completed many successful projects for both the domestic and commercial
customer alike, such as new house builds, barn conversions, extensions,
renovations, alterations, conservatories, garden walls to patios.
Projects completed to date have ranged from a value of £1 thousand to £1
million.
In addition to our building services, we also carry out pre planned
maintenance contracts which includes meeting SLA requirements, one of which
is for the South Central and East Midlands Ambulance NHS Trust.
The contract involves the servicing and maintenance of 16 ambulance stations
in Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire - from Chalfont St. Peter to
Peterborough.
Our role supports the ambulance service by ensuring the stations heating,
plumbing and electrical appliances are working correctly, tested and
serviced and certified on an annual basis. Regular preventative building
maintenance is carried out as and when required.
For maintenance contract emergencies we hold a pager and are contactable 24
hours, 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year.
In 2005/2006 we carried out a refurbishment project for the South Central
and East Midlands Ambulance Headquarters, which involved relocating the 999
emergency call-centre to new offices. The relocation did not effect the
emergency services and procedures were in place to enable a live transfer.
Burgess Building are a NHBC registered building company. We hold a
Contractors All Risk Insurance Policy to the value of £5 million, and work
to current Health and Safety regulations.
